Women's missionary union

WMU’s unwavering focus is making disciples of Jesus who live on mission. WMU seeks to come alongside the church to accomplish the mission of God. God issued the mandate for us to be involved in missions through the Great Commission. Our desire is to see all ages energized and motivated and equipped for missions.

We carry out this mission by

Partnership Ministries

Resound Network

The Resound Network exists to catalyze a movement of revitalized and replanted churches resounding for the glory of God and the good of their communities.

We pursue this by partnering together to engage churches in a process and equip leaders for the work of revitalization and replanting.

Strategy

1. Mobilize a network of teams equipped to come alongside churches through a proactive process to discover and pursue God’s plan for their futures.

2. Discover, develop, and deploy revitalization and replanting pastors through a leadership pipeline that engages potential leaders throughout Missouri Baptist life.

Send Missouri

The vision for Send Missouri is to see a healthy, multiplying church in every community across our state. Through developing strategic partnership with churches and local associations, we desire to plant churches everywhere for everyone. The North American Mission Board does not plant churches. Churches plant churches. Therefore, we aim to come alongside of existing churches as a strategic partner.

Our Pathway

Assessment - Helps to gauge readiness for church planting

Orientation - New planters connect at a 3 day event at the Send Network training center.

Training - Develops practical skills to launch and grow a church plant.

Coaching - Provides focused wisdom related to the church planting journey.

Care - Planters experience compassionate support and encouragement for themselves and their families.
